Moberly Regional Medical Center congratulates Betsy Lasser, MLT as the April 2011 Employee of the Month.

This is the second time in Betsy's six years with MRMC that she has been selected as the Employee of the Month!  Betsy is a Medical Laboratory Technician and according to Lab Director Anita Smith,

"Betsy is an overachiever. She takes on many additional responsibilities in the department including being a key operator and trainer for several instruments, as well as ensuring QC checks are right on target. She is also my Chief Trainer for students doing rotations through our hospital."

 Betsy is appreciated by her peers in so many ways, but is known for never forgetting to recognize a coworkers birthday. "I love what I do," comments Betsy. "I like being in the background and indirectly touching patients lives by accurately running the various lab tests and ensuring those results get to the ordering physician in a timely manner." When not working Betsy enjoys gardening, reading and knitting and loves spending time with her husband and two dogs.
