Moberly Regional Medical Center congratulates Nicole Guerra as the June 2011 Employee of the Month and the winner of the Non-Nursing Patient's Choice Award for 2011.

"Amazing compassion" is how many describe the character of Nicole Guerra. Nicole is an Activity Specialist for the Swing-Bed Unit and has worked at MRMC almost two years. Her job duties are very simple...to enrich patient's lives through activities.

According to Nicole, "My favorite part of what I do is having the privilege of listening to patient's stories about 'the good old days' and what it was like when they were growing up."

Nicole is loved by the patients partly because she is so positive and always smiling. One patient commented, "Nicole was generous with her time." Another states, "She really took the time to explain things to me about the hospital. She is very kind and most caring." When asked how she likes working at MRMC Nicole replied, "I love working here! I am most impressed with this hospital in the timeliness of addressing patient and staff concerns. It's not all talk, it's very real and they take our concerns very seriously. It's obvious that patient care really does come #1 here." Nicole is a single parent and when not working she is spending time in her flower garden or with her four kids; Ryan age 17, Garrett age 11, and twins Carah and Caleb age 10.  On behalf of everyone at Moberly Regional Medical Center, congratulations Nicole Guerra on receiving the June 2011 Employee of the Month recognition.
